Does R6900P support WPS

My Canon TS8120 printer is having trouble connecting to WiFi and support is asking me to perform these steps:

1. Select Setup on the Home screen (it is the gear icon at the bottom of the LCD screen)
2. Select Settings
3. Select Device Settings
4. Select LAN settings
5. Select Wireless LAN
6. Select Wireless LAN setup
7. Select WPS (Push button method)

Does my router support WPS and, if so, can you help me find the WPS button?

Here's the printer's view of the Wireless LAN

TIA for you help.

Head to https://www.netgear.com/ from here locate "CUSTOMER CARE" and "Support" which is pointing to https://www.netgear.com/support/ where you can enter the name or model like

...following the link suggested does lead to the R6900P Support page...

...following the [Documentation] button does list the available documentations ...

...magically, there is the User Manual ready to download.

Note: This is about the "standard" concept for many vendors and products, not just for the R6900P.

Magically you might find this (among various WPS related items, like a PIN or soft-button option):

  • Do you not understand the concept of downloading the manual and reading ???

Go to the Download section at the top of the page, put in your model number and download the manual.

Look at page 11 for a layout of the buttons.  Look at page 136 for written instructions.

    See attached.

A helpful reply would have said where to download the manual you quote from.

Maybe in red and underlined helps !!

  • The image below shows the row of indicators on the top of the router. My printer manufacturer's instructions for setting WiFi communication with the printer says to "push the WPS button." Is the button pointed to by the red arrow in the image the WPS button?

    TIA for your help.
