Error No ethernet cable is plugged into the router internet port.

I have used this router for about 3 months and it has been working fine, then all of a sudden it quit and I went through everything in the manual. When I try to use the router login . net it just tells me no ethernet cable is plugged into the router internet port. I have tried everthing from resetting to turning on in the right order to new cables but still nothing. I have no idea what to do next. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution? Please .

But there is?  And the other end of that cable goes where?  And that
device is known to work?  Which was determined how?

Not a useful description of anything.  You have a chain of stuff,
where at least one piece doesn't work.  Test/swap each piece?

The internet which works perfectly is plugged into the yellow input of the router and the cable output is going to the PC.I really don't know what you're asking but it works when I bypass the router. When plugged into the router. the router login just says no internet. Simple as that.

Is there a modem of some sort in front of this router?
