Feedback for R7000 New firmware 1.0.9.18
Hi All,
Please post here for any update/issue related to the latest firmware 1.0.9.18.
You should review this and maybe revert back to this recommended version of FW:

Since I've flashed Tomato a few weeks ago I've forgotten that I have a router- it's working perfectly getting dust because i do not touch it at all :-)...
Parental control works perfectly, 0 drops, strong signal - save your time and do a similar thing!

Upgraded to 1.09.26 on the 18th (little irony there). Upgrade smooth, router rebooted on it's own. Came back online with no fuss. As far as I can tell, all my previous settings remain. Both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands are turned on as it was prior to the upgrade.
No connections issues or drops. No lag or buffering, even with 3 devices simultaneously playing 1080P youtube videos.
Have devices hardwired to the R7000 and none of those exhibit any connectivity issues. I do not have any Google/android devices. Wifi connected devices run Linux Mint, Windows and iOS.
Looking good so far.
- So has this been fixed yet as I've not been on here for a while?
It was still 2017 when this first started....lol- pierrecaAspirant
No not been fixed by Netgear.
have moved on to third party firmware.
No issues.Router has never worked better.
Don't even know its there now, everything works and is stable.
Wireless works, no disconnects, Media streaming doesn't choke any more.
- Really!!
I noticed that the firmware was now on 1.0.9.26 so though everything must have been fixed by now.
