interferes with phone system
Ever since I installed the Router, my phone system has been acting up. I use 8x8 VoIP. THey seem to think the problem is the router and the setup. I am not sure if that is it or something else. Any suggestions?
Disable the SIP ALG, then cold boot your VoIP phones again.

Well, I don't know what you have in the way of the VioP system, but I'd suggest posting the the correct forum, https://community.netgear.com/t5/Cable-Modems-Routers-and-DSL/ct-p/en-home-dsl-and-cable-modems. In addition, supply some real information, "my phone system has been acting up" doesn't convey to me anything to even suggest.
Also say what you had when it did work and what was changed? General router settings as well would help so maybe someone could suggest what to change.

Your footer says that you have a C7000.
You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.
The C7000 is a Cable Modem/Router.
