Netgear N600 want to change to 2.4ghz since mQ device won't install if 5ghz present

Question

Garage door opener software&nbsp; -- mQ.adviced by mgf software willl not install over wirless network if 2.5 ghz present.&nbsp; So what's the easiest way of disabliing the 5ghz mode to install via the 2.4 ghz?&nbsp;Also if that installs correctly cna I thne restore my router to utilize bothe 2.4 and 5ghz?&nbsp;Thank you&nbsp;Jerry Bittner

You don't need to disable 5ghz.&nbsp;
Just make sure the phone/tablet you're using to install the opener is connected to the 2.4ghz.&nbsp;

If your router is dual band then both bands should be available and no need to disable the 5ghz to connect to the 2.4ghz.
