Night Hawk Security

Net gear sent an email about an action alert.   New software needs to be installed on my Night Hawk.  The admin username or password they have does not match what I have so I can't update the software.  The security questions make no sense to me so I have no idea what the answers are to reset my admin username or password. 

 

How can I change the username and password?

    Did you change the password before? The default username is admin(cannot be changed) and the password is password. If you cannot remember, then you may reset the router.

      Pushing the reset button isn't doing anything. The power button stays white regardless of how long I hold the paper clip against the reset button.

        How about other lights? Did they turn off when the reset button was pressed?
