Nighthawk R7000 firmware V1.0.11.116_10.2.100 connection issues.
Upgrade firmware recently to V1.0.11.116_10.2.100. The wifi would drop to my various devices through out the day, it would get serious enough where I would need to power off and power on the router. Anyone else experience these issues? I disabled QoS and all other setting are factory default besides passwords.

If it only happened after the firmware change, try factory resetting the router and reinstall it (not from backup).
If that doesn't help, the agreed upon stable version for the r7000 is 1.0.9.42. this tends to work the best on the r7000

I did as suggested yesterday.. Did not go well, lasted about an hour and then dropped all the connections.. Which if I remember right is why I got off that version 1.0.9.42 in the first place. I didnt want to because it was the last version that supported Apple's Time Machine. So a factory reset again and loaded V1.0.11.116_10.2.100 again, today its seems to be dropping only devices connected to 5G.. Curious to see if V1.0.11.116_10.2.100 fixes your issue..
