Nighthawk R8000 won't let me connect more than one device

Trying to set up new Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band R8000 wifi router and it won't let me connect to more than one device at a time. I am using Apple devices and an XBox. Any ideas?
  • Hi Pudgie_japanese,

You may try to reset the router to factory default.

Do you mean that you cannot connect more than one device to the R8000's wifi? (It is confusing to talk about connecting the R8000 to other devices.)

What happens when you try to connect a second device?

  • Yes when I try to login to the wifi on my other devices it shows that there is no connection. I can turn wifi off on my phone and my Xbox can take over the wifi, but no more than one device connects at a time.

    Hi Pudgie_japanese,

Access the UI of the router. (routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1). Make sure it is not configured as AP.

        Hi Pudgie_japanese,

We’d greatly appreciate hearing your feedback letting us know if you need further assistance.

  • I've been trying to get to that but it seems it won't load on my cellphone. I don't have a laptop either. Thanks for the reply.
