Nighthawk X4 R7500v2 Access Control does not work
Frustrating behavior with my device, router firmware version V1.0.3.10
I cannot block a device that is using my network.
Advanced>Security>Access Control
the checkbox next to Turn On Access Control is checked.
I go to the list of the devices that are currently connected, indicating "Allowed" under the status. I click the checkbox next to any of them (for example, an iPad my cousin is addicted to). I then click the "Block" button.
I get a popup that asks:
"Do you really want to block access to selected device(s)?"
I select OK.
Screen refreshes, nothing happens; the device still says Allowed!
I've rebooted the device twice, no luck!
Anybody else have this issue?

Try to reset the router to factory default and manually reconfigure the device.

I tried to replicate your concern but I was not able to reproduce the same behavior. Mine works fine.

I have the same router and the same issue. I can't block an intruder in my network. I bought my router in Dec 2015.
