R6020 factory reset Borks internet access
I was getting really slow connection speeds so I did a factory reset. Now I cannot get into the settings so I can update the firmware. I have the latest version on a flash drive. I can see that the router is connected but cannot sign in due to no internet. I do have an Ethernet cable connected, but it says that I do not. The usual browser router access urls like 187.162.-.- do not work. Not sure what to do next. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Nothing usual about those URLs. 187.162.x.x are public IP addresses belonging to a Mexican ISP - they are not addresses you can use to access the router from the LAN. Did you try http://www.routerlogin.net ?

Thanks for the reply, I do not own a smart phone and my chromebook cannot run the night hawk app. I clear the browser cache regularly.

No need for the nighthawk app. Try entering http://www.routerlogin.net in your chromebook browser.
