R7800 loss ping

Hello

I have r7800 with firmware V1.0.2.92 installed. Do other users of this device have the same as me? I am connected via LAN cable.

When pinging the world with an interval of 0.5 seconds, it loses packets.

mtr -i 0.5 -s 1500 google.com

And when I only ping to the router it's ok.

mtr -i 0.5 -s 1500 192.168.1.1

On the old draytek 2110n router there is no such problem.

Regards

What kind of pings do you see if directly connected to the ISP modem?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
    Turn off and unplug modem.
    Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

like FURRYe38 says, what modem/gateway is it connected to.

Your ping from host to router is fine. So its router to getway is where I'd start

Look how my old draytek 2110 router is running.

      mtr -i 0.5 -s 1500 google.com

On r7800, when it gives a ping at an interval of 0.5 seconds to the router itself, it's ok, but when I give further, the stairs begin.

With an interval of 1 second, netgear is ok, and from 0.8 seconds and less, the problem begins.
