R8500 console access procedure
How to acces the router remotly?
You can telnet into router. You can use a telnetenable executable that's freely available on the Internet (use the correct one for your model). Alternatively, it may be possible to enable telnet access through a debug menu (e.g. http://routerlogin.com/debug.htm). I saw a post recently about that.
Once you are in, it's pretty much a BusyBox console.

Console access usually refers to access via serial port. This is different from remote access. Which one are you asking about?
Let me clarify the question, Is there a way to access the raw datas on the router, such as the way the router sees the USB drives or printer or temperature.
