i have tried everything i can think of to resolve this issue with no luck. ISP has confirmed GB speeds on the line itself.

Not a lot to go on there. It is a bad idea to try to cram the whole issue into the subject. There isn't room for a proper explanation.

copy, well as i stated, my ISP came out and verified speeds on the line, everything checked out on their end. When i turn my modem on, all lights are green as should be but when i turn router on and try to connect my PC via LAN it turns the LAN light on modem amber, which indicates 100mbps. I used to get roughly 850 down and 40 up. My down speed sits around 90 right now.

A smidgen of more detail there but still a bit thin on details.
The firmware on the router is?
Can you test the speed out of the modem by connecting to that with a PC?
The first advice from Netgear's techs would be to reset the router and set it up from scratch.
