Upstream QOS List Being Reset

Router r7000

Firmware Version
V1.0.4.30_1.1.67

Repro steps

Go into upstream QOS.

Add some (all added via MAC address).

Remove some

Click apply.  Settings seemed to have stuck.

Go into advanced Setup > Wireless Settings.

I changed nothing and hit the apply button.  This page gives the 'reloading' status bar that may be rebooting the router.

When the router returns.  All upstream QOS changes have been reverted to the origonal set.

Downstream QOS settings are being saved correctly.  With so many streams happening I use the upstream to prioritize traffic by device regardless of what the downstream has optimized.

Please confirm and fix.

    Hi dizzydevil,

    Welcome to Community!

I have tried it on my end and I was able to successfully configured the  Upstream QoS. Have you tried a different browser or performed a factory reset?

    Regards,

I'll reset the device and see if it changes anything.  I'm using MS Edge browser but I'm not sure the browser would make a difference since the pages are loading correctly.  Is there a known issue with certain browsers?  Which were you testing?

      Steps under MS Edge:

Chose Revert to factory defaults from under the administration menu.  Rebooted or shut off all machines while router was rebooting.

      Advanced>Setup>QOS>downstream.
-Checked both boxes and hit apply.  Router rebooted or 'updating settings'.

      Advanced>Setup>QOS>upstream
-Checked the box and hit apply.  Router rebooted or 'updating settings'

Hit upstream Speed test and waited for completion.

      clicked 'setup QOS rule'
      -Deleted warcraft
      -deleted everquest

      Clicked add priority rule
      -Changed category to MAC address.
-Selected Network Attached Storage Device that had connected already.
-Set priority to low and clicked apply.
-Clicked apply again and verified the settings remained.

Clicked Advanced Setup > Wireless Settings
      -Turned off 5ghz Radio
-Clicked apply.  Router rebooted or 'updating settings'

      Went back under the Advanced>Setup>QOS>upstream
      -All settings had revereted back.

Reproduced the configuration steps under IE & Chrome with the same results in that the upstream QOS is reset after enabling / disabling the 5ghz radio and hitting apply.  IE actually loaded the welcome / intro page with registration while Edge (the first brower to hit the IP) took me right in like there was no login.  Once the intro pages were done, all browsers asked for a login.

I also tested it again with all the downstream options turned off and I didn't remove any upstream QOS (just added one via MAC address) and it got cleared when toggling the radio again.
