GL.INET 5GHZ get WIFI 7, RS700 it doesnt (wifi 6)
My travel router GL.INET Slate 7 looks like it works much better than my RS700 on firmware 1.0.7
Both same channel and WPA3
My Samsung Galaxy S24U gets Wifi 6 if it connects to Slate 7, but it connects in WIFI 6 connecting to the RS700 (same channel as slate and both in WPA3), clearly RS700 has an issue in firmware with 5ghz...
Slate 7 costs 1/4 of RS700, has better coverage and better protocol WiFi 7 handling, unbelievable.

Mayank S was the technician that make me loose my time, a total incompetent. I will never buy Netgear again.
Its a pity GL.Inet doesn't have a router with 320Mhz support in Wifi 7, because I will from them instantly and dump this RS700. Asus is full of bugs, TP-LINK crap, now NEATGEAR another bugged firmware and a uselesss support.
Again, fixes don't come over night. You'll need to find something else that works for you if your really wanting WiFi7. Orbi BE series is currently supporing 7. Galaxy 25s working in MLO on my system.

I uploaded the firmware 1.0.9 and the same issue, I'm still with support (more than 1 hour) and they ask questions that doesn't make any sense to me and I'm a networking engineer, I don't know why they don't reproduce the issue in their lab that is very easy.
I presume they will or will review this. Will need to give it time I presume. Keep in contact with NG support then. Fixes don't come over night.

Something you'll need to contact NG support about then and let them know what your seeing. IF it is a FW issue, they'll need to get it fixed. Nothing we can do here from the forum side.
