Lan Led light on.
I just installed my Netgear rs100. the ethernet and wireless are working as they should. I have 8 devices on wireless connections that are working fine. Why is the LAN LED light illuminated. It indicates there is a problem somewhere. I reconnected the Modem and Router 2 times using the cable that was provided in the box. The red light is indicating that there is a problem somewhere.
Please help me get this corrected.
Thank you.

Are you referring to the WAN port LED or the LAN port LED? Which port LED is on and what color is it?
Check the user manual for LED status and color meanings.
What brand and model# is the ISP modem?

The Lan port Led is on and color is red, indicating a problem somewhere. My wireless network has a good connection to eight different items.
What is connected to the LAN port?

One 4k sony Tv and one Arlo security camera base station. that is it. on gamers here.

You would not be the first person to see that as a RED LED. It may well be AMBER.
When that happens, the router is usually telling you that something "slow" is plugged into that port. A lot of devices work happily at 100 Mbps. The usual suspects in such cases are TVs and media players.
