RS500 - Higher ping times to router than my previous router R6700AX
I am consistently getting ping times of 3ms or higher from a nearby laptop to the router over wifi. The same ping times with my previous router R6700AX is only 1 ms or lower from the same location and the same 5 Ghz band channel settings. The number of connected clients or network activity didn't change in both cases.
The pings to the router over a wired connection is as expected and less than 1 ms.
Do the Netgear wifi 7 routers in general have higher ping times to the router over wifi?
Can't find v22.150 anywhere to try?
Just tested my RS600 here and getting same thing on a AX210 adapter PC on 5Ghz:
I had to disable Smart Connect to force my adapter to 5Ghz as it kept connecting at 6Ghz. I didn't test 6Ghz.
I'll pass this to NG and see if this is something acceptable and if there is any suggestions or information. May need some tuning in FW.

Thank you for testing and passing this issue along to NG. Looks like this is a FW issue only with the WIFI 7 routers. I can't find the specific Intel driver 22.150 version, windows auto updates the driver after removing the current driver.

Have you checked Intel's site for histical driver availability?

I marked this issue as resolved since this high ping issue appears to be present in all the RS series Wi-Fi 7 routers.
