Unable to upgrade FW stuck on firmware v1.0.7.86
RS700 stuck on firmware v1.0.7.86_2.0.82
My RS700 shows a firmware update available, but the update process goes through and ends up with the original version.
I have even tried a factory reset just taking the default settings to get online and then upgrading and it appears to go through all the steps but ends up on the original firmware.
I have tried manual updates with different browsers
I have been offered
v1.0.7.96
v1.0.9.6
neither firmware upgrade will take. currently always stuck on v1.0.7.86

This is a beta unit that we've already troubleshot. I'm hoping that NG can help on this one.
Seems like the router maybe in some read only or has a fault in the FW partition area that is not allowing new FW to be loaded and processed.
I successfully upgraded automatically and manually throughout the beta without issue and once after beta.
Passed to NG. Someone should be reaching out to you.
did you try using tftp or nmrpflash?
tried tftp, but don't think I ever successfully got the RS700 into tftp mode
