add cloud user to folder

I am trying to add a folder share to an existing cloud user.

I have previously set up a cloud user on a public folder. all is working OK.

the user can see the shared folder and their home folder.

I now want to give access to this user to another public folder.

so:

under the home screen  - a select a folder and click share.   the share access window opens.  I enter the email address of the user I want to have access.   the email address of the user is already in the list of cloud users.

when I click add - the 'email' prompt goes red  and the share is not completed.

how do I add a folder share to an existing cloud user?

    Hi rodcrit,

    Welcome to the community!

Can you confirm if the user that you are trying to add is already on the list of ReadyCLOUD users on share where you want to give it Read or Write access? Posting some screenshots would also help.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind regards,

      Hi Brian:

yes -  the user I am trying to add to another folder is already on the cloud user list displayed under the manage screen.  They have read / write access to the folder they were originally entered on.

I now want to give them access to another folder.

I can attach a screen shot of the manage page - but not sure it is going to tell you a lot, other than they are in the list.

      thanks for contact

      Rod

        Hi rodcrit,

May we ask for the current firmware version of your ReadyNAS?
