Anonymous Access Detected
Hi,
I'm setting up ReadyCloud on a ReadyNAS 312 (Fw. 6.9.3).
When inviting external users I get message "Anonymous Access Detected". What does that mean regarding to external access/users?
I want to have "Allow anonymous access" for local users.

Hi TommyDa
That is best answered on this thread.
If you have setup ReadyCloud make sure your users will be able to set a strong password or better
Only invited users will be able to access your ReadyCloud shares but no other users can access it unless they will be able to hack in to your network.
You can also check this article for setting permissions within ReadyCloud and Local users.
Hope this helps!

Hi Mark_V,
I read that thread and article, but couldn't really find/understand the answer for my question.
From a Readycloud (external users) point of view: Does it even matter if "Allow anonymous Access" is allowed or not?
"Only invited users will be able to access your ReadyCloud shares but no other users can access it..."
So why does the question about "Anonymous Access Detected" appear when invite of new users to ReadyCloud? How is it relevant?
Thanks
/Tommy
