Cannot enable ReadyDrop
I have a 104, and cannot enable ReadyDrop.
I've RTFM'd and scoured the internet for a few hours.
ReadyCloud is enabled and joined, and Remote Access is enabled. ReadyNAS Remote client is also installed on several computers.
But on the 'Cloud' admin page, there's just no entry for ReadyDROP. The GUI looks like the picture on p80 of the ReadyNAS 6.2 manual, EXCEPT that all references to ReadyDROP are completely missing.
ReadyNAS Remote client contains an entry for ReadyDROP, but doesn't respond if I click it (but the Shares and Manage entries work).
I can log into https://readydrop.netgear.com/client/index.html (via Chrome), and it brings up a page with my NAS name, but I can't actually interact with it. I can't upload files or create folders.
I was really looking forward to having Dropbox-like functionality for my own storage server, but maybe Netgear never finished implementing it? Or they just haven't bothered to document it properly?
I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

- RXLuminaryIf your RN104 is on FW v6.2.x, ReadyNAs Remote has been replaced by the ReadyCloud Client App. I believe that also, ReadyDrop has been replaced by ReadySync which is included when you install the ReadyCloud Client App.
Regarding the Drop-box functionality, check this link: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detai ... -system%3F - goppyAspirant

Thanks, Ixa, but it seems that Netgear has forgotten about releasing a ReadyCloud Client App for Mac :( so I'm stuck with an old version of Remote. Still, the browser-based interfaces should work regardless of OS, but they don't.Ixa wrote: Regarding the Drop-box functionality, check this link: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23434/~/how-can-i-set-up-dropbox-backup-on-my-readynas-os-6-storage-system%3F
I wasn't switching topics completely; just I was talking about the promise of using my NAS like I currently use my Dropbox account, to automatically sync files across computers. - RXLuminaryAs of now, the ReadyCloud Client App for MAC is still on Beta version. You may want to try it.
