Hi, I'm on Readynas 102 firmware 6.2.2 and I can't ping this website 1fichier.com. I'm on ip static and my dns server is ok, I can ping this website from my pc without any problem. I added the ip address in etc/hosts and hosts.allow but still can't ping. When I'm trying with pyLoad for example I have error No route to host. I have antivirus disabled. Can someone help me? Hi, new user here, so I hope my question is not stupid. I'm using my NAS both to back-up my data and keep the HDD of my workstation clean, so I imagined, I would have a "work" folder on my workstation, where all active projects are kept and which would be synchronized with my NAS, and one archive folder, that only exists on my NAS. Once a project is finished, I'd like to move it from the "work" folder to the "archive" folder, so that it would only exist on my NAS. If I move it from my local HDD, a copy of the project stays in the "work" folder on my NAS, I haven't tried moving the file from the synchronized "work" file on my NAS, but I'd expect to either run into an error, or the file just being copied from my local drive to the "work" folder again. Is there an easy way to move a folder from a synchronized folder without having to care about copies of it on the NAS? RN10400 OS 6.1.4 2x3TB WD Red I have set up the above machine successfully using the readycloud discovery process and have no problem accessing it using the admin user via readycloud or any of the relevant iOS apps. My problem is this: I invited another user to access my NAS using the Manage tab of readycloud. That user responded to the email and set up a readycloud account, which is now visible on the Manage tab of readycloud, if one is logged in as the admin user. However when the invited user logs into readycloud, no NAS is visible and the text "Currently you have no registered or shared devices". How do I get my NAS to show up for that user? The invited user has all the services (readycloud, remote, readydrop) appear after the user's name under the Account tab, Cloud Users section, exactly as they do for the admin user. However, only the admin user can see the NAS when logged in through the cloud. Also, while the admin user can log in to the NAS directly, using its IP address in a browser, the invited user cannot log in that way at all! Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong, or not doing at all?8KViews0likes38CommentsRN104 - Cloud Functionality and Apps
Happy with a new RN104. Currently two area's of interest: - It looks like the cloud functionality is a little buggy. According to support, this may be related to with current Netgear server upgrades. I'm currently unable to properly create and manage ReadyCloud users. Will investigate further. - Also, I'd like to run some of the available apps like Wordpress and make them accessible from outside my LAN/Internet router. Looking forward to exploring the expertise in the forums!Solved6.4KViews0likes14CommentsUnable to access Admin page on RN104 since upgrade to 6.2.2
Hi Just noticed I am unable to access the admin page and receive the error "Google Chrome's connection attempt to IP was rejected. The website may be down or your network may not be properly configured". FF and IE just say unable to connect. I can ping the IP fine and the shares are available via the android app but not the readycloud website which sees the top level folders but when you try to enter into them it just reloads the device icon.10KViews0likes14CommentsReadyCloud not working - shows up as offline
Hi, I'm Eugene. I work for the Department of Defense here in the North Chicago area. I recently purchase a Netgear NAS RN102. Was able to get it setup. Enter the Admin panel. Was changing the TCP/IP address to Static. Made the change. Closed out Chrome. The IP 192.168.x.xx I entered did not change. Now my ReadyCloud NAS shows up as offline. I've tried a reset and even power off. Nothing I try brings it back online and makes it discoverable. Anyone care to coach the newbie? Thanks, Eugene8.7KViews0likes8CommentsChanged NAS102 to static IP and ReadyCloud reports no registered devices
Hi Folks, This is probably a simple fix, but I can't find a parameter or existing entry to help get me back on track. I recently setup a new RN102 and all was working fine including maped desktop drives to the NAS shares. Then it all stopped working one day and I realized that was because IP address changed after a reboot of the NAS. So I changed the network config to a static IP address. That went fine and I can log into the NAS and all seems fine there. The problem that I can/t fix is that ReadyCloud on my desktop, and the cloud portal report the error "Currently you have no registered devices." Well, I do and it was all working fine two days ago. I assume that ReadyCloud remembers the original IP address somewhere, but I can't find any documentation regarding how to correct this. Any help appreciated. I'm new to NAS and out of ideas and interface tabs to click. Thanks, Rob4.7KViews0likes6CommentsAnyway to link ReadyCloud account to local account?
Am running latest 6.2.0 (love it). I realize that ReadyCLOUD users are different than local users, but wonder if there is some way to "link" them. Ideally I would like to be able to log into ReadyCLOUD and see *my* home directory instead of having a separate one for that account. Is there some way to do that that I am not aware of? Thanks in advance!4KViews0likes3Comments
