Hotmail Account Users not receiving invite email
Hi, I am using the Netgear 204 system everything running nicely. Software 6.3.5
Though I would set up ReadyCloud Access for family to folders.
Everyone I invite that has a hotmail.com address does not get the invite.
Anyone who has a work related email gets the invite and is online in seconds.
Why does the email not go to hotmail /gmail addresses ??
I have tried to search this forum with no luck.
Nick
I also had no problems receiving the email on a test hotmail.com account. My guess is the problem is located somewhere on the receiving end / Microsoft. For a test try adding readycloud@netgear.com as a contact at your hotmail account and see if this helps.

Hello,
Please have the recipients check if the email ended up in the spam folder.

Hi EskenderNG,
I have sent the emails to numerous addresses including my own hotmail account.
They have not appeared in any junk mail or spam folder, have not appeared anywhere.
Thanks

Hello nicksmith10,
Can you please check if the email addresses you invited are listed under Manage on your main ReadyCloud accnt?
I tried this just now with my own hotmail account and I recieved the invite, as well as yahoo.

Hi EskenderNG,
If I add readycloud@netgear.com to the safe list they come through fine.
Great idea, just seems a bit odd that Outlook.com is blocking them.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
reading on the net Microsoft seems to be quite quick to block a sender. Maybe too many emails from the same sender with almost the same content seemed suspicious to them.
