iDrive for ReadyNAS Pro 6 running OS6

Hi there

I'm testing iDrive now that CrashPlan discount has ended. My PRO6 is happily running OS6.

The app that I can install from the admin page says there is an update and links to a iDrive page where I need to select my NAS to download the proper .DEB file.

Question: as mine is not exactly an official model, which current NAS shall I select so that I am given the proper version - which is assume it's the x86 version?

Thanks!

    Yes, it's an x86 version.  RN3xx, RN4xx, RN5xx, or RN6xx should all work.

Let us know how it works out.

      Thanks StephenB,

      That worked ok!

So far I'm impressed by iDrive - particularly by the fact that it WORKS on the NAS without having to become a Linux engineer! :)

I'm just trying to find out if the backup incremental algorithm is as good as CrashPlan's and then I guess they have a new customer.
