Need ReadyCloud for OS X 10.11.6

As my v1.4x of ReadyCLOUD for OS X could not connect to the ReadyCLOUD server anymore, I dl'ed the recent version available on https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads which is 1.6.766.178. However, this version only supports OS X 10.12 onwards.

Where can I find a version von ReadyCLOUD for OS X that supports OS X 10.11.6 and connecting to the NETGEAR server?

    Hi 10X

Unfortunately only the current versions are posted for download. Don't you have any plans of upgrading your OS X version? There was an issue with ReadyCloud app v1.5 wherein it was not recognized for installation due to a certificate error hence v1.6 was released.

v1.6 should be compatible to versions prior to OS X 10.12. Are you getting any errors when you are trying to install the version?

    Regards

Hi Marc_V, thank you for answering.

No, I do not intend to upgrade to a recent version as more recent OS versions do not support this particular Mac anymore. Most professional companies host prior versions though, to serve their clients regardless of running a recent OS, plus offering bug fixes for older OSs too. If a new OS is more demanding in terms of system architecture, that may be acceptable from either a technical or sales point of view. In the case of ReadyCLOUD, it's rather hard to believe that a new OS is a requirement.

Would you consider upgrading your OS only because of ReadyCloud?

The currently downloadable version (1.6.766.178) is NOT compatible with 10.11.x, as stated in the OP. There are no errors during installation, only a pop-up window concluding my point. The fact that it lets you install unsupported software in first place is beyond me. The app icon is greyed out with the no access sign on top of it.

Are there any other options apart from a new OS?

        Hi 10X

The latest version created is not intended for 10.12 versions onwards only. This should be compatible with previous versions as well.

Can you provide me a screenshot of the pop-up window you're getting so we can check.

        Regards
