NV+ and remote file access

Ugh this is really frustrating. So I installed the OS X client no problem. I logged in at https://remote.readynas.com/ (the ReadyCloud account worked there too) but when I installed ReadyNAS Remote and followed the instructions to log in from the client all I get is "Login Failed". In ReadyNAS Remote if I click on Properties and then click view profile it takes me to https://remote.readynas.com/ in the browser and guess what - I can log in JUST FINE. But I enter those same credentials in ReadyNAS Remote and all I get is "Login Failed". What am I doing wrong? I thought this as supposed to be very simple (according to the instructions)...
