NV+ and remote file access

Anyone have any thoughts on my previous post? Trying to either hide shares that users should not have access to when using ReadyNAS Remote but without then causing those same shares to disappear from view via CIFS over the LAN ...OR... figure out how to get WebDAV working from Win7/8 again.
