Hello Teflonhybrid,
I guess you just needed to know how to properly enable the ReadyCloud and integrate your MyNetgear account. It may had some problems somehow because of the migration but I am glad it now works.

I guess I thought that it was a plug and play device and you just had to turn the ReadyCLOUD option on for it to work, how silly of me.
It actually worked perfectly when I bought it, then updates of the firmware came in the way, and it was 6 months of navigating in the dark.
Thanks anyway.

We are working on fixes for some issues some users have encountered on upgrade.

Hi.
I have the same problem. I can't activate readycloud on my NAS. I just upgraded the software so it is connected to internet. I cannot find it with readycloud, but I can find it with RAIDar software.
I also just merged readycloud with myNetgear account. Is it possible for you to help me too? Serial 3EP336EC00C3D

I need to know if you've completed the basic checklist for this problem. Here are things you need to check before we go off the reservation looking for solutions.
- Make sure your IP address is not set to static (you can reserve an IP through your router, but setting it to static breaks the discovery process)
- Make sure you don't have something else using UPnP on port 80. If you have another device receiving incoming request on that port, you will not be able to use ReadyCloud.
- Check that the firewall setting on your router on not set to "strict." A security setting that is too high on your router will block the outside request.
- Check the app from within your own network. If the app works in you house, but not from outside location, I can narrow down the problem.

Hi.
Thanks for the reply. I changed to DHCP ip and turn off the firewall. I also turn off UPNP, I do not know how to check if I have anything using the port 80?, but I don't think I have (i will check this some more).
Good news is that I can now find the device (NAS), but only by searching serial no in ReadyCloud page. But when I hit manage I only get back to the log in page of the NAS disk. This I can easy reach by NAS ip adress and the Readycloud on settings still is grey and cannot be activated. Additonal information I have this disc in my Readycloud when I log in, but is offline. I put in some screenshots to illustrate.
I am very greatful for any help?

Hi Kawator,
Does not seem to look that you have joined the ReadyNAS to any ReadyCloud account.
Can you have it joined to your ReadyCloud then post another screenshot of it?
This should give us an idea if its a networking issue or if its something else.

Hi.
Thank you again for reply. Maybe I not understand, but here is a sceenshot of my Readycloud with the Nas disk, but as you can see it is offline. I can still not activate the readycloud in the settings menu of NAS disk. I will try to delete this disc and reconnect?

Hi again.
Now I deleted the disk from Readycloud, and now is not possible to get it back. RAIDar program can find it, but not readycloud. I am now on computer connected to the same router with cable. Normal operation to get into folders on the Nas disk with explorer work fine. Thank you again for all help.

Hi. I give up trying to solve the problem. I preformed a factory reset. Now everything is working. I lost quite much data, but is ok.
I reccomend anyone that have this problem to just do the factory reset, but remember that the reset FORMAT your discs.
Have a nice day:smileyhappy:
