ReadyCLOUD Admin
I have a ReadyNAS 204 6.5.1
Can this unit be adminitrated for mthe ReadyCloud?
when I click admin page, I get a local admin message.
- If that is the case it is working correctly.

Hello Madcow68,
I've seen your other post that is somehow related to this.
Here's a sample scenario:
You have 2 email addresses, [email protected] and [email protected], [email protected] is the you used first and registered with ReadyCloud, the email address and myNetgear account that you entered in the admin page > Cloud > ReadyCloud when you enabled cloud. This means that this [email protected] is the account that has admin rights that can add users and allow users to access folders. When you go to readycloud.netgear.com and login this [email protected], you will be able to add users and have full access to all shares even home folder and get to admin page via that web site. Then you invite [email protected] to access one of the shares. This [email protected] will receive an invitation to sign up if is not yet registered to myNetgear, if this email is already registered then it will receive an invite to access the folder/share, the email has a link that the user need to click which will redirect him to ReadyCloud web site to login. Once logged in, he need to confirm the invitation. This [email protected] should be able to see only the share that [email protected] invited him to access and Home folder, under the home folder he will see another folder named after his account name which is [email protected]. The [email protected] account will not be able to get to the admin page because this is just an invited users, only [email protected] account can.
I hope this somehow answers your questions.

Hello Madcow68,
You can only use that admin page if your are using the account that has admin rights for accessing ReadyNAS via ReadyCloud and the machine/computer you are using is connected to the same LAN where the NAS is.
