ReadyCLOUD Androd app Vers 2.0.0 - message bubble?
ReadyNAS 102 DEVICE with Firmware 6.9.4.

Stephen, Thanks for assistance, I will let the matter rest there and will look into OPEN VAN and Zero tier as possible solutions. I noted on the ReadyCLOUD app Playstore download on my tablet that others have said the later version of this app was causing problems. As long as I can access my NAS device via a browser this gives some comfort. Again thanks.

No, I was trying to sort out if it was an issue with the app, or with the connection between the NAS and ReadyCloud. It sounds like it's the app.
Though if you are simply wanting remote access to the NAS there are other options. I generally use OpenVPN (which is built into my Orbi router). Zerotier also works, and there is a app that can be installed on the NAS.
