Unable to login to NAS or even access my drives
So 3 days ago, I logged into the ReadyCloud portal just to check on the health of my drives etc. and to check make sure I wasnt running out of space. Today I try login and.... I cant. Neither can ...
Okay , ill try mountiong the old drives on linux and if they are accesable ill just factory reset the NAS and this should hopefully get me up and running quickly.
Will update back if I am succesful or not, thanks all that have replied so far.
Have you tried logging in directly to the NAS admin ui (not using the ReadyCloud portal)? For instance, https://nas-ip-address/admin.
Also, download RAIDar 6.4 - that will give you some more information on the NAS status. You should also check the LCD panel. https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads#raidar
Yes tried that too, no luck.
RAIDar shows status as healthy and Firmware version 6.2.2 , could that be the issue ?
Do I need to update the Firmware?

Do I need to update the Firmware?It's four years out of date, and it's not compatible with ReadyCloud.
You can't update it in one go, you need to update first to 6.2.5, then to 6.5.2, and finally to 6.9.4. I also suggest doing a factory default procedure when that is done, as there were improvements in performance that require that. Of course you need to back up any files you have on the NAS.
But to do any of this you need to regain access to the NAS. Is this NAS new to you? Were you able to access it before? Do you have files stored on it that aren't backed up?

Hmm , my latest files are not backed up but yes I do have a fair chunk of it backed up in the cloud but would take close to a week to restore on my current internet line .
Nah this NAS is probably close to 4 years old , but yes I was able to acces everything until today.
Hypothetically say I pull my drives out, stick in a blank and do a reset, then put the drives back will it read the old drives or are they encrypted ?

You don't want to do that. The OS that is booted is on the drives, not the flash. If you did that. the system would try to update the version on the drives from flash, skipping the necessary intermediate steps in the upgrade, and likely put you in a data recovery situation, whihc I don't think you are in yet.
