Webpage for ReadyCLOUD password change hangs if using an expired link. #27447891

If you accidentally use an expired link that is in your email (from a ReadyCLOUD password reset / "Forgot my Password"), the password dialog hangs without an error message.  Password is not changed.

 

Although it is a user error to use an expired reset link, the password dialog should not hang and an error message should be given. 

 

This has been recreated for NetGear.  This is NetGear case number 27447891.

 

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

    Hello Weaverita,

     

    I checked the case and found that it has been escalated, being checked by the developers. Thanks for bringing it up! Let's see if there is someone else would respond to the thread.

        This error condition now generates an error message but does a poor job of still identifiying the users error.  I think a simple clarification to this error message is all that is now needed.
