If you set a static I.P. address on the NAS did you remember to specify the DNS Server addresses?
Yes I specified the DNS Server addresses...
Ok, everything is working well. I have set a static IP address and changed the DNS server address to a different provider and everything seems to be working... Apparently, the DNS server addresses I had did not work correctly.... thanks for asking the question about DNS addresses.....made me take a close look at my settings.
Now that is resolved you can select "Accept as Solution" for a post that contains the solution.
