Can not activate Virus Scanner - ReadyNAS OS 6.6.1 problem with Firefox
Hi there,
I just stumbled upon a minor bug, probably in the UI: when using Firefox (latest Version 53.0), I could not activate the Virus Scanner. Yes I did mark the Enable real-time antivirus scanning box before clicking Apply button! But then the page just seemed to update shortly, and nothing happened. Virus Scanner stayed off.
Using Chrome though, everything worked as expected, Virus Scanner is active now…
Using ReadyNAS 104 with OS 6.6.1

Are you referring to the AntiVirus? Please note that there has been an update on AntiVirus. The AntiVirus Plus app will no longer work.

I am referring to the Virus Scanner which you can activate either from the main screen, the link next to the red/green antivirus status indicator, or by clicking the virus protection button on the System / Configuration page.

This works correctly (with FireFox) on my RN526 - running OS 6.7.1.
So you might want to try upgrading your firmware and checking it again.
