Dahua IPC-HDBW4421E(-AS)
So I'm trying to hook up this camera. http://www.dahuasecurity.com/products/ipc-hdbw4421e-as-998.html I can login to camera, etc, but Netgear surveillance is unable to find it.
If I manually type all info, it still can not connect to it. What am I missing? Both cameras are on the same network connected to same router.

This camera is not listed in our camera compatibility list. Possibly that's the reason why the system won't find it. Which ReadyNAS Surveillance desktop are you using on your PC? Also, which model and Firmware of ReadyNAS are you using?

NETGEAR Community Teamlatest OS on ReadyNAS 316 using trial surveillance version. Camera works perfect with any other PC-NVR software, so I know there arent any issues on hardware side. As far as support, this camera isnt any different than other Dahua cameras that you support, so it should work. On the side note, I had Hikvision DS-2CD2732F-IS camera (is on your list) and your software couldnt find it too. This makes me wonder is i'm missing something with settings or your ReadyNAS surveillance just plain sucks.

You should be able to see the version of the ReadyNAS Surveillance when you go to Apps and see the app icon.
Also, it is still best you use the compatible one and not the one that is not listed when troubleshooting it.
