How to increase max upload size for piwigo

OK, so now I have been able to upload photos using filezilla to the /galleries folderon the NAS, but when I 'synch' them (directories only, or directories and data...in fact any combination of ticks in boxes on the synch sheet) it reports back that there are no files or directories in the /galleries folder. Checking back with filezilla and ftp-ing in to the folder, they are there. Any ideas? Should I just remove the app and try again? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me to distraction. I haven't tried asking on the piwigo forums - the posts I have seen so far on there indicate that if you ask questions about a ReadyNAS install, you just get a 'ask Netgear' answer :roll:
