Installing PHP
Sorry for the newby question, but I am trying to install PHP4. I was able to get apt installed using this as a guide From that point I added the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list deb-src...
In general it won't work, because just about everything is linked to libc6, and newer packages will almost always require a newer libc. So most things will need to get recompiled against glibc 2.3.2.
