Then you probably refer to the libc6 library, which indeed is blocked in the preferences file of apt?
That is precisely what I refer to. :D Bear in mind, though, that depending upon which respositories you add, you could wind up in a situation where things are blocked because it's impossible to install libc from that same repository.
