Do you think that Netgear would look at offering a license conversion from Readynas Surveillance to Milestone Arcus? Although if I have to renew every 5 years, this would put me off a bit.
Having used Milestone's Xprotect, Readynas Surveillance has a long way to go.

Hello yoban ,
Maybe, but I am not sure as there are no plans as of now.
Milestone and ReadyNAS Surveillance are completely separate products. There is no way to convert ReadyNAS Surveillance licenses to Milestone. Take note that ReadyNAS Surveillance licenses are permanent to the chassis while Milestone Arcus' only lasts 5 years.
Also, ReadyNAS Surveillance will still be available and will still supported.

I can't seem to find prices. How much per camera? Then it's only good for 5 years and I have to fork out again, every 5 years? If you have to hide the prices, It can't be cheap. I'm trying to google the info and I can't find any prices. I go to their web site, No prices that I can find.
I can only guess how much say 16 camera's would cost, and every 5 years. Think there's much cheaper solutions then this.

I installed Milestone Arcus as well on my RN516 but will be removing it as my WD MyCloud doesn't have the 5 year license renewal requirement.
