Problems with Backup to USB HDD

OK in order to hep fix another problem with my RN104 I am trying to backup everything to a USB external HD. RN104 Firmware 6.10.3 4x 2TB WD Red Drives (Raid 5) external HD WD My Passport (1TB)  ...

A backup you can't access on another computer isn't worth very much.

 

EXT4 formatting is fine if you have other linux systems.  But if you have don't, then NTFS is a better choice.
