Readynas photos and flash crrashes
Hi,
I have readynas photos II installed un my ultra all works well until you start the slide show then you get an error message flash plugin has crashed. So in all my wisdom I get the laptop out to try and it and get the same problem. I have had friends connect to the box and it crashes for them as well so I can only presume the problem lies with the readyans photos installation.
Can anybody help with this ? Im good at following instrusctions :)
Thanks Paul

- Darth_VaderNETGEAR Employee RetiredHi Paul,
Can you give me the following information:
-Browser used and version number
-Photos II version number
-Screenshot of the error message
Thanks - pauliesAspirantI am using
Firefox 9.0.1
Chrome 16.0.912.75 m
Explorer 9.0.8112
Readynas Photos 1.0.5
Thanks Paul - Darth_VaderNETGEAR Employee RetiredDo you see any other error message before the plugin crashed? Can you tell me in which step does it starts crashing? Something like:
1. Login
2. Click on Album 1, and see thumbnail photos showing up
3. Click on SlideShow Play button at the top, then it crashes
4. etc
Thanks - pauliesAspirantHi,
The only sign of it crashing is when it actually crahses :(
I click on trhe slideshow the first image appears but as soon as you try and move to the next image it crashes no warning or anything.
Up til the point of crashing everything works perfectly.
Thanks Paul - Darth_VaderNETGEAR Employee RetiredI think the crash happens in CoverFlow view where you see the center photo is flat and side photos are twisted facing the center photo. This only happens in the new Flash Player 11 but it works fine with Flash Player 10 or lower. We are working with Adobe to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Note: Slideshow should work fine. To trigger slideshow, click on the "Play" button located at the center above all the thumbnail photos.
Thanks again for reporting the problem. - WesWAspirantAm having same problem with Flashplayer crashing. Running latest version of Flashplayer. Any fix on the horizon for this?
- jabberwockie1AspirantAlso having the same issue. Flashplayer is crashing everytime. I am running latest version of Flashplayer. It is happening on 3 different computers.
Explorer 9.0.8112
Readynas Photos 1.0.5 - jabberwockie1AspirantAre these forums even monitored by anyone from Netgear? Why no response on this issue? The product is pretty much useless with this flash limitation.

- yoh-dahGuideWe'll have a beta out shortly that fixes this.
