Readynas vault stopped working!
I set up ReadVAULT to copy files from dropbox back to my RN 10200 just over a week ago and it worked great. This week it doesn't work at all and it no longer allows me to use it!
I did some research and found a thread saying it could be to do with the DNS. I'd installed Noip as an exercise since setting up the vault and figured it must be that, so I completely uninstalled Noip but vault still didn't work. I figured ok it needs to be restarted, so switched vault off and on. Problem is I can turn it on but vault will not work, I can no longer log in again and it fails registration every time. So I updated it and it's still no good.
I've also upgraded the laptop I did this from to Windows 10, which wouldn't have thought should make a difference when there are already other W10 machines on my network anyway.
So now there's a very basic feature of my RN 10200 that I want to use and it won't let me use it at all.
Can someone please advise me on how I can rectify this.
Thanks very much.

Here I am thinking several people have looked at this and may reply soon,. then I find it's every time I look at it the views go up.
Surely it's not that hard to make it independant views is it?

I've managed to get it working, I think. I'll update when I check and see if it is.

Hello - I'm not positive on how you setup ReadyNAS Vault to restore files from your Dropbox account onto your ReadyNAS 10200 because ReadyNAS Vault and Dropbox are two different cloud backup services and do not currently have the abililty to access files across the two services. If you can write to us at support@readynasvault.com, we'll be happy to look at your particular setup and assist.
Here is a quick test you can do to make sure your ReadyNAS has good netrowk connection: Frontview -> System -> Settings -> Update -> Check for update. No need to do any updates, but it should tell you if a update is available or if the system is up to date if it is connected to the Internet. If you get an error or no response at all, it might indicate that your device is not connected to the internet. If you have setup static IP, then DNS not having setup correctly is often the issue. Here are instructions to manually setup DNS.
