I had a similar Problem with Resilio Sync however I was able to install it successfully by using System, Settings, Install Firmware. an error message came up but after leaving it for ten mins I had a message to say it was installed. Amazingly enough it works.

I'm a little confused and am hoping someone can help me out. I have an RN 3138 and have been using the iDrive App and the Resilio Sync apps for a long time. My system updated to 6.10.10 and I can no longer keep either of those two applications up to date. Both need to be updated for security and other reasons. Is the only way to keep them up to date, now, to downgrade my RN firmware to 6.10.9? Am I understanding that correctly? Does that mean I will never be able to get firmware updates for the RN again? Wouldn't that also create security issues with the RN? Is there no way to keep both the apps installed on the RN and the RN itself on the latest firmware/software for security reasons?
I'm absolutely not super immersed in this. It is a home setup with a complicated network and I can manage it; but I'm just really super frustrated that I can't even update existing installed apps on the RN. Any tips welcome.
Lastly - If I downgrade to 6.10.9 is there any trick to updating the iDrive and the Resilio Sync apps that I didn't have to deal with prior? or is it straightforward. Thank you.
- nogJun 09, 2024AspirantHello yes no more update on readynas if i have well understood the best and latest version is 6.10.9 for keeping most of the functionalities but no more security update on the nas and you have to remove auto firmware update
To update apps you have now to go on app supplier website to have the latest version download if available and install it with manual package installation - StephenBJun 10, 2024Guru - Experienced User

How tricky it is depends on whether the updated version needs different libraries.
There is a long thread here that includes information on what changes need to be made in order to the NAS to access the correct (now archived) Debian Libraries:

Could you help me to share a package and short instruction to install and configure istat server on OS 6.10.10, please?
