Search Option not Visible in Settings

Running firmware 6.9.4, so up-to-date. I'm trying to turn on Search, so I can search files on my NAS. I've followed the instructions ->System->Settings->Services, but there is no search option to...

That could be the issue: ReadyNAS 104.

Have you enabled it in System/Overview ?

FWIW, I see it on my RN202 in system->settings->services even though it is disabled on system->overview. However, that NAS is running 6.9.4.

Looking at haigha's screenshot - the only service missing seems to be File Search.

Is this the RN316? If not, what NAS model?

  Not sure on your model yet, but files search is not available to the 100 series units.
