SickBeard Not Working
Hi Guys I have been using Sickbeard Piratebay Edition for a couple months. I logged onto my ReadyNAS104 this evening and saw their was an update for "Sickbeard for ReadyNAS" to version 1.1. I think...
I've not used the PB version, but assuming (most) of the files for the PB and Xtras version are the same, and even if they install to different folders, whatever cruft was leftover from the PB version should be overridden by re-installing from the available apps section if you've not already tried this.
Does the PB version use the built-in MySQL Db? If so, the symptoms you describe sound like the MySQL user for SickBeard (PB) doesn't have enough rights to perform database upgrades. You might be able to upgrade him manually via phpMyAdmin in order to be able to overcome this issue, prior to attempting the upgrade to the version with the new Db.
I wouldn't try deleting the databases for these kinds of add-on/script as it may be the case that databases are only "created" when they are installed from new. Better to find out why the database is not being upgraded with the other files and try to work around that issue.
