Transmission failes to initialize

Hi there, I have a readynas 314 - when I load up transmission I get the following error.

 

404: Not Found

Couldn't find Transmission's web interface files!

Users: to tell Transmission where to look, set the TRANSMISSION_WEB_HOME environment variable to the folder where the web interface's index.html is located.

Package Builders: to set a custom default at compile time, #define PACKAGE_DATA_DIR in libtransmission/platform.c or tweak tr_getClutchDir () by hand.

 

Can anyone assist please?

    Hi kjbnz,

     

    Please try adding 8.8.8.8 as secondary DNS on the ReadyNAS admin UI (Network - Settings of NIC - DNS) and see if same problem.

     

    Please also check if you get the same problem when using other web browser.

     

    Let us know the model number of the NAS and the firmware version.

      No - adding the IP to the DNS did not solve the problem. 

       

      Model Number: RN314

      Firmware: 6.2.4

        Do you get the same problem on otehr web browsers?

         

        Also, please check if you will be able to launch other apps.
