Ultra2, how to install recompiled Kernel into the flash mem

Hello,

I'm looking to make working iptables on a ReadyNas Ultra 2. I installed the latest 6.0.8 firmware and I compiled its associated GPL kernel with iptables modules activated. iptables modules are not enough, the whole kernel have to be recompiled. That's part is ok.

Now I need to replace the current kernel in the flash memory of the nas by the new one. I'm able to use the serial connection and control the boot process, but I don't know how to copy the kernel to the flash memory.

Anyone to help me ?

In fact, at first I tried to install a debian following http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=70244. But I didn't succeed yet and I beleive that the problem could be incompatible hardware with the debian kernel. So maybe a readynas kernel could work...
