- madronemediaAspirantI still need some help. I can't find the hidden.RNP2 file. I running a Mac on 10.8. I can see other hidden files, but no the .RNP2. I am currently using Photos II fine. I've tried what's written previously in this post, but I must be missing something.

Also, because the use of this application for sharing photos requires that the URL is proxied by readynas.com, what assurances are there that this service will exist in 3, 5, or 10 years from now? It takes a lot of time to re-do all the photo albums currently hosted by other services, such as Shutterfly, Flickr, etc. It would be very disconcerting to learn a few years from now that the service were no longer supported since there is no functionality to share the albums using a non-Netgear URL (for example, based on your own domain or a dynamic DNS based service).
You should be able to link your albums directly with a dynamic dns service. Try http://<domain>:<port>/photos2/login.html, where <domain> is your domain name :) and <port> is your forwarding port for photos2, default for me was 8086. ie http://www.your_domain_name_here.com:8086/photos2/login.html - QuakerWildcatAspirant

Yo-Dah, any progress on plans to address this? I just set up my first ReadyNAS this weekend with 8TB of disk space largely because I take and save several hundred MBs of photos annually. So far so good, and ReadyNAS Photos will be a nice bonus, but I have no interest in using it if it simply copies the photos from my NAS onto a second place in my NAS. That'll chew up my terrabytes fast. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserYoh-dah is no longer with Netgear.
- chirpaLuminaryAs StephenB said, Yoh-dah left NTGR. The only person I've seen do any work on Photos2 since, has been Darth Vader every so often.
- PafinAspirantHey there,
Any news about the changes asked (not duplicate the picture files?).
By the way, my NAS is in Europe, I'm in Australia. How can I access the hidden folder .RNP2?
I tried by FTP but could not, neither using Windows Explorer and \\copied.IP.from.ReadyNasRemote\c\.RNP2 or \\copied.IP.from.ReadyNasRemote\.RNP2 .
Any way to access it ?
And instead of using ReadyNAS Photos II, any way to install Tinywebgallery on a ReadyNas Duo V2 ? (config RAIDiator 5.3.10)
Thanks
