Does the readynas 104 support hard drives greater than 4tb either officially/unofficially?

- xeltrosApprenticeOfficially this is not supported yet as there are nothing higher than 4Tb in HCL :

Unofficially this would require some test but I think the addressing limit was from 3Tb drives to 4Tb drives, so I think the NAS can address 5Tb or 6Tb drives but since I'm not sure of it at all, I would NOT recommend buying those disks for several reasons :
1°) If they are not on HCL Netgear could refuse to help if you have a problem
2°) They are not cheap at all and it may be a better play to have two NAS with smaller disks (that's to check)
3°) The compatibility hasn't been extensively tested
4°) if you need more than 12Tb in raid5, you probably want a more powerful unit to handle more users at a time.
