4K Native hard drives compatibility

Hi,

 

Are the 4K native drives compatible ?

Example: HGST Ultrastar He10 ISE 4Kn, 10TB (HUH721010ALN600)

 

I only find the ALE60x models and not the 4Kn (ALN60x) ones in compatibility list.

    Hi @chopin70

     

    The 4kn disk format is of course supported by OS6 platforms. I have checked the HCL and found enterprise-class drives in 4Kn listed from different manufacturers.

     

    The drives listed on the HCL passed stringent disk qualification tests, but new drives are always being tested and becomes available on every update, we just cannot provide any ETA on when the lists get updated. As for the model you want, we may have to wait for an expert to verify if it is compatible.

     

    WARNING: NETGEAR Support can and will deny support on devices using drives not found on the official compatibility list.
